From a humble beginning to a thriving community center, our journey is a testament to faith and perseverance

A Journey of Faith & Community

Established in 2012 by a small group of dedicated brothers, Masjid Tawfeeq began as a modest prayer space in a rented storefront. Through the blessings of Allah and the unwavering commitment of our community, we have grown into a vibrant center of worship, education, and service.

Today, Masjid Tawfeeq serves over 1,000+ community members, offering daily prayers, Islamic education, youth programs, counseling services, and community outreach initiatives — including 2 weekly programs for all ages.

2011

The Humble Beginning

A small group of dedicated brothers established the first prayer space in a 1,200 sq ft rented commercial unit in Rochester.

2012

Official Establishment

Masjid Tawfeeq was officially established as a nonprofit organization.

2015

First Property Acquisition

Purchased our first 5,000 sq ft building at 15 Hudson Ave, which became our permanent home.

2020

Islamic School Launch

Established weekend Islamic school for children, serving over 80 students weekly.

2024

Expansion & Community Center

Renovated basement with kitchen, and multipurpose hall for community events.

2025

Major Renovation Completed

Improved accessibility, parking lot resurfacing, and technology upgrades, .
